We use EVFSA essentially for HSM. Initially we opted to delete an archived files when its placeholder was deleted but decided not to do this once Symantec alerted us to the potential for data loss.
However we don't want a file to hang around in the vault forever if the user has deleted its associated placeholder, i.e. leave an orphaned file in the vault. Ideally we'd like to delete files say 30 days after the last placeholder that is associated with it has been deleted. Does anyone know a way of doing this? If not how are others preventing their vault simply filling up with files that have had their placeholders deleted?
