Reports are contradictory on this.

We are one of the specialists that can do the catalog manipulation in order to do such a migration but currently we are told that the tools for this purpose are not supported on the appliances

Having said that we are looking to get this supported for a current customer so this may change very soon (if it has not already)

You may need to talk to your Symantec Partner or account manager to get agreement on this but you will still need a specialist to actually do the work

Hope this helps

Hi guys,

As Mark_Solutions mentioned, the procedure and tools for migration is made available to those partners who had been certified to perform catalog migrations.

We just had one done by Symantec.  We had some hiccups bc the way our network is set up here but Consulting did a great job with this.  Definitely research what you can and cannot do with an appliance master before you decide.
