Policy for VM's with Automatically Query option

Have NBU 7.1, with VSphere 5.0. we are trying to create our VM backup policy per LUN. I want to use the Query option in the policy, but we could have a VM client on Multiple LUNS, which would backup the client each time. could I use the query builder to exclude this client if already selected in another policy?

I don't see how you could do that way as the query builder does not cross policies. However, What you could do use the query builder in your other policies to exclude the host that has already been backed up by a previously run policy.
