Hi,
We change our enviromint domain name and we need to change the domain name for all servers.
And we have NBU appliance 5220 2.5.2 as media server.
Master server 7.5.0.5 : windows 2008 R2.
We need to chenge the domian name for master and media server.
First, if we change the domin name for master server, did i'll lost the administation consol configuration and settings or it will not changed.
Secound, if we change the domain name for media server, did the images that on appliance will be lost or can be accessible?
And are there any recommended steps to do this task.
Thanks,

Master name change will need specialist services - but only if it actually uses a fully qualified domain name
So if when you open the Admin Console you see it as master.domian.com then you need help... if you just see it as master then you are OK
A check of the registry will also show you how it is named .. HKLM\Software\Veritas\NetBackup\CurrentVersion\Config
The ClientName / EMM Server name to see how it is configured.
The appliance should be OK - you should be able to just update the search domain and domain from the CLISH as it actually uses its short name in netbackup
Check for hosts file entries and bp.conf entries to be sure, as well as the vm.conf file .. but you should be OK
