Replication between appliances

Hi Tech Experts,

we are having two netbackup 5230 appliances in production and DR site. The Monthly backup data will be replicated between appliances and due to slow wan link, there are lot of pending backup images backlogs. in order to clear the backlogs the DR appliance has been brought back to production site and connect directly through 10 GB fibre interface. Still i am facing slow data transfer rate. Any ideas how to increase the speed.

Are they on different IP subnets?  Maybe you are still being routed back across site and back again - and now even slower!  Or maybe there is a physical 100Mb/s hop in the way?  Who knows!

First thing I would check is... for the master brought back... where is my gateway?  Am I still using a gateway at the far site?  Maybe you should now be using a gateway (for the same subnet) but at your new local site.  If this doesn't make any sense, then you need to talk to a network engineer.  HTH.
