Hi,
we are running PD server for a multi-customer environment. Some customer do allow a communication over FQDNS between agent and PD server, other customers allow only communication over IP address.
Is it possible to configure both communications on the PD server?
As soon i changed from IP communication to FQDNS, backup of agents located in networks allowing only IP communication failed with Error: 33: storage pool setup: unable to create storage pool context: specified route table does not exist, is not readable or contains no entries
agents running "with" FQDNS were able to backup successful.
As soon i change backu to IP communication the FQDNS configured agents failed with ERROR 15 : Could not establish a connection to www.xxx.yyy.zzz:10082: connect failed (A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. ).
The agents communicating only over IP succeed with there backup.
What can i do ... i am no network specialist :(
