Puredisk 6.5.1.2 to 6.6.0.3 upgrade - prior DR backup

Hi!

We have two very large (nearly 100TB) Puredisk SPA's running 6.5.1.2. I will be upgrading them to 6.6.0.3 in the next few months - all went well on a test setup.

We only write PDDO Netbackup backups to Puredisk (using Netbackup Storage Lifecycle Policies) to duplicate between the two SPA's.

Due to the size of the SPA's we DO NOT run DR backups as they take days and days to complete with the size of data.

Prior to running the Puredisk upgrade, I'd like to know if there's anything worthwhile backing up on the SPA's other than doing a full DR backup, in case the upgrade goes wrong.

Also, can an upgrade be reversed out?

Cant answer your question directly, but there are some recent large performance improvements in 6.6.1 of PureDisk that is either out now, or is FA at the moment...
