Puredisk Full Backup Error

Hi everyone

I'm trying to do a full DR backup on my puredisk server using the system policy for full dr backup and it is always failing with the error below:

[06:08:55] Container 0 till 6518 have to be backed up.
[06:08:55] Create list of new containers since last DR Backup in /Storage/tmp/newcontainers.
remove previous backup data
start full backup for new containers...
attr_get: No data available
Could not get "dct.counter" for /Storage/data/1/0/_0
[07:57:15] Set counter dr_last_pathid to 6518
*** Error Message ***

Anyone knows why is this happening?

to me the error message sounds like some data or tlog is missing

attr_get: No data available
Could not get "dct.counter" for /Storage/data/1/0/_0

did you check the path /Storage/data/1/0/_0 ...?

It seems that all the files are there; at least according to the log file. All the folders have files named from 1 to 251 and one log file.

if you received that error message from the DR backup that ran while PureDisk was idle (no backups / restores / replications) then I'd suggest collect pdgetjobs then log a support case with symantec

/opt/pdconfigure/scripts/support/PDgetjobs.sh jobID
