I am running NBU 8.1 on a Linux based NetBackup appliance. I have a sql transaction log backup policy that reads from a bch script on a Windows client that is not on the default location on the client. The first time that I ran it I got the 5452 error that states "The script <t:\netbackup\logbackup.bch> cannot be accessed. Confirm the script can be accessed and is in an authorized local location". I understand this error and I fixed it by running nbsetconfig>DB_SCRIPT_PATH=t:\netbackup. on the client. Now the backups run successfully, except for the first job each day at 5:00 A.M. After that it runs fine every hour until the next day at 5:00. Each time at 5:00 I get the error stating that it's not in an authorized location. Any ideas?

Hello,
investigate on sql server side and its debug logs. Probably some conflicting mssql-related operation.
