7.5.0.6 Special Client Package for Windows 2012

Friends,

7.5.0.6 release notes say at Page 10 that you need special full installation package to install NBU client on windows 2012 server. so obvious question is where can we download that special client package.

i tried to install using a traditional method; tried to install 7.5 base but no joy it kept on failing.

tried to install 7.5.0.6 it doesn't give you the option to insatll on this client only. its greyed out.

any idea???

NB_7.5.0.6.winnt.x64.Client.Win2012.exe provides a full installer for NetBackup 7.5.0.6 Client on Windows 2012 Server and WIndows 8 Client.

it happen all the time to me.

I just realize, after more than 2 years, that you do not have to have the master server at the biggest patch level and that the client (and the media) can be at a higher patch level.
