AIR and BMR ?

I can duplicate Backup with AIR and NetBackup 7.1, but when we use BMR, it is not a solution to recover systems on the DR site.

Is there some way to tranfer also BMR information to the DR site ?

Possible with NBU 7.5.

Even in 7.1 case BMR information will travel to DR site but BMR configuration import will not happen automatically. Automatic import is supported in 7.5. (refer above link pasted by Marianne).

In case of 7.1, you need to import BMR config maually and change some records in BMR DB so that it can refer to correct master /media server. Also after restore you need change master/media and etc/hosts recrods to suit your DR environment.

There is also a technote available for 7.1 AIR + BMR setup which guides on manual BMR recovery. You can raise a service ticket with symantec to get this information from support.

Yes. It is. But in 6.5.x you need to import catalog manually too.
