Accelerator backup isn't using change journal data

Hi All,

I am new to netbackup environment, I am facing issue with accelerator backup. Please help me in this regard.

Log for accelerator backup enabled client,

It says "not using change journal data" , and incremental backup is taking more than 2 hours to complete ! Is this usual ? And for other drives, log says " not configured for use" . 

Use change journal should be enabled in client settings ?

Yes Use Journal is enabled in the client propties.

Accelerator and Journal is two different things, where accelerator is a Netbackup feature and journal is an OS feature. But they compliment each other to give shorter times, then just using one of the features.

As for the 2 hours, it is impossible to say without knowing more about your system.

  "Hard link or reparse point change detected" , what exactly this warning is ? Is it anything to do with track file ?

Its the method of mounting other disk devices on a folder

e.g

d:\data\data1 <-- d: drive

d:\data\data2 <-  other disk mounted
