Backing up 7.6 clients with 7.5 master server - NetBackup

robbiecookie11

Hi guys,

I'm trying to protect a Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V box using NetBackup.

Our master server is running 7.5 however, I've only been able to install 7.6 on my Hyper-V server (running 1 Windows Server 2008 guest).

When trying to perform backups i'm getting this error 1: (13) file read failed .

Will I need to upgrade my master server to fix this problem or is there something else i can do to get this backup working?

Many thanks

Robbie

Agree with Nagalla - But I doubt the status 13 has something with with the difference in netbackup to do. Verify with bptestbpcd -client {name_of_client} first.
