Backup duplication to tape

Hello,

We have taken vmware backup using replication director from Primary filer to backup filer. Now we want to duplicate backup on tape as well. Can we used SLP to copy backup over tape or we have to use NDMP to copy backup on tapes?

you can confiure SLP to duplicate the images to tape....

remember,SLP only duplicate the images that are happend though SLP, it can not duplicate images that are already backup with out the Tape STU in SLP.

so any modification in SLP(adding tape STU) will take effect for that backup triggering afer the SLP modification
