Business Server 4.5 MP4 - incorrect media found

HI@ll,

I have some business-server in some small offices.
One of them makes trouble, and Symantek don�t gives support for 4.5-installation.

In the morning one colleague changes the tapes manuel - it�s a standalone drive.
For example he dismounted LD0308 and mounted LD0309. I can see this new tape in the admin console.
But when the first backups starts I have a problem with the tape.

bptm-Log:
<16> write_backup: incorrect media found in drive index 0, expected LD0308, found LD0309, FREEZING LD0308

After that the tape LD0309 was unmounted.

Then my colleague mounted the tape again, and we had no more problems.

I have this problem nearly every day, only some tapes have no problems.

What�s the problem and what can I so???

Look at the drive and media type and verify that they match. example the drive will say TLD then the media should also be TLD if the drive is TLD(1) then the media should be TLD(1) this is quite often over looked. Also make sure the labels have not been put on the media upside down.

thanks for your answer.
the media and drive type is all agreeing.
The labels are correct on the tapes, also in a standalone drive I don�t need any label.
