Calculating Media Count Schedule wise

Hi All

Platform  Windows 2003

Netbackup 6.0 MP5 

 I want to calculate media used cout for last month schedule wise means

2. how may tapes used for FullBackup last month.

3. how many tapes used for Differential backup last month.

3. how many tapes used for cumulative backup last month.

 Please advise as i am not able to find anyway.

Here you go...

If you want to know the tapes used between 09/01/2008 and 10/01/2008, for the policy Windows and schedule being Full, run the following.

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpimagelist -media -d 09/01/2008 -e 10/01/2008 -p Windows -st FULL

For differential, st is INCR

For Cummulative, st is CINC

Is good to know what you are using but is better to have a plan of what will came, for this I will recommend you to take a look to the performance guide, here you will find a lot of good formulas who can give you a good path for the future needs, is what we suppost to do when we configured a new environment but normaly is never the case, look it at.
