Can't restore images older than one year after catalog restore

We restored our catalog from hot catalog backup files to a DR server that has NB 6.5 installed.  The original server is also 6.5.   After the restore I can see all the backups that are on the original server, and I can restore any backed up file that was backed up in 2007.  When I choose any backup previous to 2007 in the GUI it comes back with a message that there are "no files matching the specified criteria".   Is this due to catalog compression?  Does anyone know how to fix this?

This definitely has to do with compression.  We compress our catalog after 360 days.  I turned logging up to level 5 verbosity and the bpdbm log is showing that it is failing when trying to decompress the file.   Could this be a bug in 6.5?

Problem resolved.  On this new server running RHEL4.0 there is no /usr/bin/uncompress file.  Once I installed it the images uncompress and I can restore the files.

Why is there no uncompress file and where did you get one from to put on this server?

Don't know why it wasn't there with the installation, but I downloaded the "ncompress rpm" and installed it from there.  ncompress installs compress and uncompress in /usb/bin
