We have two media servers, one for normal backups and one for database backups, one media server owns the robot. Is it possible to assign one drive to each of the media server even without the SSO license?
SSO is not required if each media server has its own tape drive assigned. The library does not care which media server owns which one. The library only moves tapes from slot to tape drive to cap.

We use SSO in our environment with 7 media servers and 2 NDMP systems. However our master server is the one that actual controls the robotics in the tape library.
