Clustered NetBackup 6 Media Server on Windows

Hello All,

 

I've setup SAN media servers on a Windows 2003 cluster (using MSCS). I followed the procedure documented in the NetBackup 6 High Availability Guide. I've setup a storage unit using the virtual hostname for the application resource group. When the backup runs it finishes successfully but backs up only 1k or 5k of data. Have I missed out anything? The setup seemed straight forward, have I overlooked anything?

Hi,
you have to put in the hosts file on each machine the physical machine name followed by the same virtual name so you can perform backup, try this and tell me if you can provide me the summary jobs
 
 
Windows 95 / 98 / Me C:\Windows\hosts
Windows NT / 2000 C:\WINNT\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
Windows XP / 2003 / Vista / 7 C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
