We have an application that executes a backup of a set of files, then after processing the results, changes the backup to an archive so that it doesn't show up in normal backup searches. This is done by simple massaging of the image files (renaming them and changing a couple of fields).
This has worked for years, but isn't ideal and makes future compatibility an issue. Is there a command line way to convert a backup (UBAK) to archive (UARC)?
We're currently running Netbackup 4.5
