DLO 6.5.1

[Netbackup_DLO_6]

Hello

I upgraded our netbackup professional to DLO version 6.5.1 and I would like to start a backup pre-command.

What do I have to do ?

Before we used netbackup Professional,  we had to create the following key in the registry :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\NetBackup Professional\Client\ProfileProp]
"PreBUCmd"="Cde to run.exe"

Did you look at bpstart_notify.bat and bpend_notify.bat?

DLO does not exactly follow the NetBackup versioning. Technically it is also quite different. Current version is 6.1MP3.

Your best bet when looking for detailed info is the DLO Admin guide. I suggest you download it off the Symantec support site and take a look. From what I see, there does not seem to be pre/post job triggering mechanism.
