Our current configuration is: NB 7.0.1 Windows. We have recently begun using an Oracle Policy to back up Oracle databases using an RMAN script. The linux client is running NB 7.0.
We had several of the Oracle "child" jobs fail with Status Code (84), which usually points to bad spots on the tape or a bad tape, entirely.
With Windows jobs the option to "Restart Jobs" is available, however, with these Oracle jobs that option is grayed out and you can only Delete the job. This means that the particular file, or tablespace, that was being backed up during that failed job cannot be backed up now.
Is there a way around this?
