Delete Client

Hi All

How can I delete a client form master server and media server?

1) Delete it from all policies.

2) Delete it from master server properties, client attributes tab - if it exists.

3) Uninstall NetBackup Client s/w from the server.

4) Use "bpimagelist -idonly -client $name -d 01/01/1970 00:00:00" to list all image IDs, and feed list of image IDs into a simple script that calls "bpexpdate -backupid $id" - to remove the client's meta-data from the catalog.

Uninstallation of a client is not required to remove a client from a master server.

Just go to the Policy in which the client is avilable and delete it from there....

Tht is more than sufficient...
