Domain Controller System State Backup

I have two Windows Server 2008 r2 Domain Controllers that are running netbackup Client version 7. The master server is Solaris 10 running Netbackup 7.0.1.

I have a backup policy that backups up ALL LOCAL DRIVES.

Both backups have partial completions with the follwoing errors;

I need to resolve the issue so there is no aprtial completetion. I have dones the following;

1. run a ntbackup of ssytem state using CLI - works fine no errors

2. checked Windwos event logs nothing present

3. Check status of VSS providers and writes. all appers to be fine.

When i run the vssadmin list providers command only the MS SSC provider is listed.

As mentioned this is happening on two different domain controllers in two different domains. the policy it fails on each time is the same one for each Domain Controller, (but obviously different for each doamin).

Can anyone help

Search around connect - a lot of people had the same issues as you.
