Exchange 2010 - Exclude a client

Is there a way to exclude an entire client server from an Exhchange Dag backup?  We have Dag01, but the Network/Exchange admins have added a DR server to the mix at our offsite location and do not want it backed up.  Can we exclude it?  We ARE NOT using GRT.   BTW, we have not installed the NetBackup client on it, not sure if that needs to be done for the exchange agent to see an exclude, we can install if need be.

In the MS-Exchange-Server policy, set the Preferred servers list under 'Microsoft Exchange Attributes' section in the lower right.  In the box that appears, enter and add the server names on which backups you do want to occur.

Yeah, I have tried that.  The Dag backup still reaches out to the DR Exchange server and fails.

In the policy:

Clients = Dag01

Backup Selection = Microsoft Exchange Database Availability Groups:\

Backing up Passive copy active if passive not available with the 3 echange servers defined in prefered server list

When using the Preferred Server List, you want to use "Passive copy only (or passive copy from preferred server list)" or "Active copy only".

The selection "Passive copy and if not available the active copy" ignores the preferred server list.
