Would need to see the logs involved in a restore.

tar from the client you are restoring to, bptm from the media server.

Need to identify which files it has issues with. Then proceed from there.

We also need to know how the restore was intiated - as a normal file-level restore or full raw restore? Full raw restore can only be restored to raw volume that needs to be exactly the same number of blocks as the source disk or bigger.

Please give us screenshots of every step of selection up restore parameters, as well as bprd log on the master. Also bpbrm and bptm logs on the media server and tar log on destination client.

Please tell us which NBU version on master server and all other 'components' involved.

Also mention OS on master and bit level.

32-bit master servers are known to have problems with building the large file list that is required for file-level restore.

NBU Master Server OS :- Solaris 10 32 BIT.
