How can I tell and how can I install?

Hello helpfull folks

How can I tell how many keys I have installed on my masters, I have new keys from Symantec, I just want to make sure I put them in right.

Run this command at the CLI get_license_key and choose what you want its as simple as that.


License Key Utility

A) Add a License Key
D) Delete a License Key
F) List Active License Keys
L) List Registered License Keys
H) Help
q) Quit License Key Utility

I dont have to stop any Netbackup services do I?

I have your ID and other folks on a "watch list", I only do this for the ones that consitantly give points!. When I see your ID on the boards I see a set of binochulars and I get notified.

You can also get license information from your media servers by running this on the master server
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpminlicense -verbose -M

There is also a "License Keys" selection under the Help menu in the GUI (windows or java).
