How long time for NBCC to finish?

Hi all,

i need to plan downtime for a an NBU 7.1.0.3 environment of 700 GB image database, appr 685 k images. I need to run NBCC in full version. How long could this possibly take?

I have seen NBCC running for hours, but I have not ran NBCC in this large environment before. Anyone?

With a database that big, quite a long time, but it also depends on how fast your disks are how fast your processors are too.

Why are you running NBCC?

Remember, Netbackup needs to be up when you run NBCC.

I am preparing for hw change and need to do this. I am aware NBU needs running, no backups though.could you be more specific? 4 hours? 10 hours?

I don't know of any benchmarking so cannot give an answer.

You can run it with backups running so does it actually matter ?

(Yes, I know it probably says you have to stop backups, but in fact, you don't - you may create some 16_4 errors in the nbcc output, but support SHOULD ignore these anyway.
