How to change Media type without deleting the volume ??

Hello Experts,

I have Veritas Netbackup Ver.6 MP5 on solaris 8 , i need to change some tapes Media Type from HCART2 to dlt so the robot can use it . i don't want to delete theses tapes to do this.

I found the way t do it by using vmchange command as below:

/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/vmchange -new_mt <media_type> -m <media_id>
