Hello all. I have some problem.

I have Exchange backup with GRT on the tape media. When I trying to recover this backup, I see the next message:

Granular restore has failed because the backup image is on tape. Please duplicate the image

Ok, I'm starting duplication job, and it this job has status "Done"

But I can't find this backup on the target storage.

How can I find this backup?

Sorry for my english.

Server: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standart

How did you duplicate the image (GUI or command). Pls explain ?

Do you have the image id of the backup. Then try bpimagelist -bacxkupid this command will show where the backup resides.

Only GUI.

NetBackup Administration Console\NetBackup Management\Catalog.

Action:Duplicate

Search...

then right-click on the backup, and duplicate.

bpimagelist -bacxkupid - must I typing this command in commandline?

I'm triyng, but:

C:\Users\Admin>bpimagelist
'bpimagelist' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

The backup needs to be on disk for GRT restore to work. The media server needs to NFS mount the disk copy and present it to the Exchange server so that individual items can be browsed and restored.

If the disk copy no longer exists, you need to duplicate the tape copy back to disk.

Use the same method for original duplication via the GUI to select the image and duplicate to disk storage unit.

Command is located in [install_Path]\netbackup\bin\admincmd
