Hello,
We Use NetBackup 7.5.0.5 on an Windows Server 2008 R2 Master Server and 6 NetBackup Appliances as Media Servers.
I have a questian about the possibility of separating the backup selection between the clients in one Policy. For a better understanding I'll give you an example:
Client_A
Client_B
Client_A/BackupSelection_A
Client_B/BackupSelection_B
I would be very grateful for further assistance.
Regards Sebastian

Create different policies.
There is really no other way.
The same Backup Selection in a policy is applied to all Clients listed in that policy.

You can't split the file selection across clients within the policy. It doesn't work like that.

Thanks for the quick response. I just hoped there is a way to optimze our policys.

The way to optimize policies is to group Clients with similar layout/filesystems.
The alternative is to use ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES in backup selection and add anything that does not need to be backed up in Exclude List on each client.
