How can i troubleshoot this error

Factory.EXE
Failed to install network adapter -- check WINBOM



NBU Server 6.5.5
SRT 6.5.5

While discovering the hardware in "Prepare to Discover" i faced the mentioned error

Since you have seen all those TN's, it helps if you tell us in the initial post which steps you have performed (as suggested in the TN's)...

Have you tried this suggestion in TN http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/322756.htm

Symantec recommends cleaning the boot files under TFTP directory before preparing to restore.

I have already seen all these articles. Actually I am going to restore a BMR backup which was of a branded system to a INTEL DG43NB PC. I restore it successfully yesterday but when i am going to restore it today i am facing the mentioned error.

I again added the target driver NIC (DG43NB) to the BMR DB but same issue.

Can we see any log entry which can show us that the NIC driver is not able to load by the setup

Hi Marianne

for your kind reply. Yes i did it but when i boot the system after put the .sys and inf file to the suggested folder my SRT is not able to boot successfully. I get the error21.

Would you kindly let me know the exact path of TFTP directory
