Installing Release NB_7.1.0.3

Hi,

On Solaris 10 I haven't been able to find out what to do with NB_CLT_7.1.0.3-tar-split.1of2 and 2of2.

I have gotten tar errors with both /usr/bin/tar and /usr/sfw/bin/gtar on each of the split files and after they have been concatenated.

What do I need to do with the CLT tar files before installing the Maintenance Release?

The following are the Unix joining instructions fromthe above link, if that doesnt work I'd try downloading the files again :

cat "NB_CLT_7.1.0.3-tar-split.1of2" "NB_CLT_7.1.0.3-tar-split.2of2" > "NB_CLT_7.1.0.3.tar"

What error message do you get ?

Bear in mind that once you have joined them and are ready to un-tar them to follow the instructions in this tech note due to a know issue:

Also, if this is a Master or Media Server you need the server installation and then extract that and the client one into the same directory and run the server installation

Thanks for the links.  I re-concatenated and gtar worked.
