Installing VMware Plugin on VCenter 8 failing

Hi Guys,

We just upgraded Vcenter from 7 to 8. We are currently running Netbackup 9.1.0.0 on Windows 2016 servers

When I install the plugin using vwcp_manage.exe it says that it is successful but when I look at VCenter it says failed next to the plugin.

The error message is:

Error deploying plug-in. Framework could not resolve the bundles: [com.symantec.nbu.NBUMonitorService_9.1.0 [364], org.eclipse.virgo.web.dm_1.0.0 [363], org.osgi.service.subsystem.region.context.8_1.0.0 [362], com.veritas.nbu.NBUMonitor-ui_9.1.0 [365], com.google.gson_2.3.1 [366], com.vmware.wsvim25_1.0.0 [367]]

Any assistance would be appreciated....

The first thing to note is NetBackup only supports vCenter/vSphere 8.0 from NetBackup 10.1 onwards from looking at the compatibility matrix. So you would need to be on this version onwards to get support from Veritas i assume. Thanks for that. I thought that was the case but couldn't find it in the documentation. We're are planning to upgrade to 10.2 within the next month or 2 so I'll try again then.
