Installing agents and other things related to netbackup

Master server Name : KSC-MEDIASRV.XXXXXXXX.local Operating System: Windows 2008 Server standard NetBackup Version: 7.5.0.4 Cluster : None

Media Server Name: KSC-MEDIASRV.XXXXXXX.local Operating System: Windows 2008 Server standard NetBackup Version: 7.5.0.4 Cluster : none

Client Name : KSC-EXCH-MB1.XXXXXXX.com Operating System: Windows Server 2012 Standard NetBackup Version: We have not yet installed. ( Let us know which client version need to be download) Cluster : none

This is the first time installing the agent. Below steps need to do.

1. Install License (This we Done, but kindly check) 2. Install agents on exchange server 3. configure storage life cycle policy 4. configure policy 5. Testing and commissioning

We have the Tape LTO-5 3 TB Blank tape. Currently we are using Dell TL2000 Tape Library. Our Mailbox database size is around 800 GB. We are expecting policy below.

 1. Initial Full Backup

2. Daily Differential around 1 AM

3. Weekly Backup on Friday 1 AM

4. Monthly Full Backup

5. Yearly Full Backup

Not sure what your question is? Other than NBU version to be installed on W2012?

W2012 is supported as from 7.5.0.6. Yes, you can have client at higher point-patch.
