Job Policy Schedule Question...why 3 backup jobs?

I have created a job policy to backup a file server on specific days for a Full "Weekly" backup, specific days for a Diferential "Daily" backup and Last Days of the Month for a Full "Monthly" backup.

The schedules are:

Weekly - Full - Frequency=Calendar, Start Window is Fri 6:00p.m. - Mon 6:00a.m., Calendar Schedule is Recurring Week Days 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Fri, Sat and Sun.

Daily - Differential - Frequency=1 Day, Start Window is Mon 6:00p.m. - Tues 6:00a.m., Tues 6:00p.m. - Wed 6:00a.m., Wed 6:00p.m. - Thurs 6:00a.m., Thurs 6:00p.m. - Fri 6:00a.m.

Monthly - Full - Frequency=Calendar, Start Window is Fri 6:00p.m. - Mon 6:00a.m., Calendar Schedule is Last Fri, Sat and Sun of each Month.

The backup job ran over this past weekend, but for some reason there were 3 Full Backup Jobs!! 2 Completed and one was still running when I came in on Monday morning...

Why were there 3 jobs?

any help would be appreciated...

Thanks

because it is  Calendar based backup, scheduled to run 3 times: one on  Fri, one on  Sat and  one on Sun.

What you should do is to put only Friday at the scheduled days and leave the window from Friday to Sunday as it is now. Then activate the "retries allowed after run day" box at the attributes of the schedule.

Or use frequency based schedule.
