Job retry's and attempts

Hi Aall
 
Ive setup a NetBackup 6.5.5 VMware backup solution. Im backing up VM’s using a NBU Proxy Server & VCB.
 
The system ive set this up on has global settings job retry delay of 10mins and schedule backup attempts 2 tries per 12hrs.
 
Is there anyway to leave the global settings as it is, but turn of job retry for my VM policies only or for the NBU Proxy / Media Server?

Windows solution.

Unfortunately global setting only...

Another option is kick off the job via an external scheduler - that way NBU will not retry.

I've seen this requirement quite often - maybe post your request under Ideas?
