Looking for a solution on Restore abortion Error (2826)

Hello everyone!

I'm restoring an Exchange 2003 Recovery Storage Group and looking for a solution on Restore abortion Error (2826)

for NetBackup Client 7.1.0.3 / Win Server 2008 R2 (x64)

Please let me know if someone has any ideas on how I can fix it.

Any suggestions and comments will be highly appreciated.

and a Symc T/N, it mentions the same error message as you see. 

Restore of MS Exchange 2007 DB stream backups to RSG failed with error: "BEDS 0x2000FE1B: FS_NO_MORE_DLE" shown in the tar log and exits with status code 5

These logs look like they belong to other Storage Groups and not the one that you are restoring to RSG?

Hi Marianne,

Yeah, you are right. I don't have required log files stored in this backup.

Wondering if there is a way to recover this Storage Group without log files at all?

I find it strange that you say you do not have the log files for the backup

When you do a full backup of Exchange you do not tell it what to backup up  - it just does it and a full backup should include the databases and log files at the same time - otherwise it should have failed

Double check your BAR GUI for the backup in question - there should be logs files for there - send us a screen shot so that we can see what you see for the restore selections
