Hi, my master server is NBU 7.1 on Windows 2008 R2 SP1. I have some Hyper-V servers (Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Datacenter) which are in cluster. My question is:
In hyper-v policy, can the policy auto update VM list in a particular node? E.g., now we have four Hyper-V nodes in the cluster. Each node is backed up by one backup policy. When a VM is moved from node A to node B, is there a way for backup policy B (for backup of node B) to update the VM list automatically so that it knows the VM has been moved to it? If no, can we write some scripts to do it?
Thanks in advance.

Automatic updation of Guest VM under node is difficult with Hyper-V this time (not sure if there is any roadmap on this)
For CSV, Yes NBU plays key role in giving you true VM protection solution. ref pg 35,36,37 fromNBU Hyper-V Guide 7.5
Simply specify Hyper-V cluster name under Hyper-V host field and select the desired Guest VM which is there in CSV. This would automatically redirect backup job to another host is case guest vm is migrated.
Hope this helps
