I have two MS SQL Servers, on which I am integrating Netbackup Online Integration.
One is MS SQL 2000, which works fine. I've succeeded on configuring the integration.
The other is a MS SQL 2008 over a Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.
When trying to open the Netbackup MS SQL Client GUI for configuring the backup, I get the box on which to place the credentials (as I did on the other SQL Server...).
As the installation is with Integrated Security, I should be able to log on with an account we created for the backups. Instead, I get the error "Application Connection failed for DatabaseName\. Please select a different SQL Server host and instance, or press 'cancel' to exit the Netbackup for SQL Server Graphical User Interface."
With another user "sysadmin" I am able to connect to the database using the gui utility...
Both users have exactly the same permissions on the SQL Server...
Any thoughts?
