Check the event viewer

1. Check on the eventview for the MSEO logs. Even if logs are getting generated in event viewer there are few things which needs to be verifed properly. All the image ID may show but it may not encripted , few things needs to be carefully verfied .
2. When you remove the drives form MSEO you should not be able to restore, the same can be able to restore when drives are under MSEO along with correct key.
3. Depending on your MSEO policy, images will encript.

HI Vinod,
Below is the MSEO Logs from eventviewer
MSEO Backup Policy: MSEO PolicyName=default. KeyType=none. Compress=none. KeyGroup=default. AsymetricKeys=rsa.default,. NetBackupPolicy=ABC. NetBackup BackupID=ABC_1288744365
Below are the things which needs to be verified ,
1. Verify the MSEO policy name , by default it will use default policy you can edit the policy as per your requirement. From the logs you can findout which policy it is using.
2. Major thing is KeyType=none this indicates the image is not encripted . You can see the below log where Keytype=aes128 , this denotes that its encripting and its using aes128 key type for encripting . Depending on you key type you can use aes128 or aes256.
MSEO Backup Policy: MSEO PolicyName=default. KeyType=aes128. Compress=none. KeyGroup=default. AsymetricKeys=rsa.default,. NetBackupPolicy=ABC. NetBackup BackupID=ABC_1288744390
feel free to post if you have any quires,
Regards,
Rajesh
