Mail configuration

Master : Nbu 7.6.0.2.

Have configured email alert for particular client by adding Server sends mail in Universal settings. Multi streaming has enabled in the policy. Now whn the backups completes its triggering alerts that equal to as same numbser of streams.

Is there any option to avoide this or any alternate way ?

That is how Universal settings work.

Another option is parent_start_notify or parent_end_notify script.

You can read up about this script in Admin Guide II.

You can customize the script by specifying the policy for which you want notification.

OpsCenter can also generate a single emailed response at a scheduled time (but not triggered by the end of the client's backup job).  We do this with our multi-streamed Exchange backup.
