Monitoring Exchange Backups

Hi all,

I had an issue where my exchange backups were only partially successful because there was a corrupt block.  I did not notice this because the backup did not actually fail it just threw a warning.  I know Symantec has its ops center in NetBackup 7.  Would ops center help me in catch some of these warning alerts where the backup did not actual fail but was not totally successfully.

Hi

You would be able to set up an alert in OpsCenter that sent you a notification if an Exchange backup finished in a Status other than 0

So in answer to your question the answer is yes - and lots of other useful alerts too.
