My set up = Master & Media Server with Windows 2000 & NBU 5.0 / MP4 + Exchange server with Exchange 2003 & NBU 5.0 / MP4.
I am having a problem completing an Exchange 2003 database restore. It gets so far and keeps failing with a STATUS 5 error, which when I troubleshoot further it mentions a STATUS 13 error, which I know is socket related. However, all backups for this Exchange server are working without any problems, and in the past I have performed successful Database restores using RSG option.
I have spoken to our Exchange Admin guy and he's looked at the server and the following error is in the Exchange server's appliation log:
Faulting application tar32.exe, version 5.0.0.382, faulting module tar32.exe, version 5.0.0.382, fault address 0x00022364.

Anyone aware of a fix for this problem?
