OpsCenter also provide you a good view of down drives from multiple Netbackup domains

You can see alerts possible in this tech note: http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO42888

Tapes drives are registred under alert type disk for some strange reason.

Just adding some information.

on this Master sever ( win 2008) Active perl was installed and my colleague wrote script for backup status and we are getting the backup status report every day.

If any one give the drive status on perl or powershell or vb script ..  It will help us a lot.

Thanks for Advance.

I am no script writer, but a simple 'vmoprcmd -d' command should be sufficient, right?

Just include the full path in the command and send output to a file, e.g:

<install-path>\veritas\volmgr\bin\vmoprcmd -d > c:\temp\drive.txt

Use the help page for blat to see how to email a file...

(I'm sure Mark will be along soon with a nice script!)
