Hi Team,
Can any one help to get Netbackup drives status by using script in windows 2008 server. I have installed blat also.
NBU 7.5.0.5
OS: windows 2008
If any one give the script to check the drive status, So, I will put the script in schedular and will get every day morning of all drives status.

OpsCenter also provide you a good view of down drives from multiple Netbackup domains
You can see alerts possible in this tech note: http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO42888
Tapes drives are registred under alert type disk for some strange reason.

Just adding some information.
on this Master sever ( win 2008) Active perl was installed and my colleague wrote script for backup status and we are getting the backup status report every day.
If any one give the drive status on perl or powershell or vb script .. It will help us a lot.

I am no script writer, but a simple 'vmoprcmd -d' command should be sufficient, right?
Just include the full path in the command and send output to a file, e.g:
<install-path>\veritas\volmgr\bin\vmoprcmd -d > c:\temp\drive.txt
Use the help page for blat to see how to email a file...
(I'm sure Mark will be along soon with a nice script!)
