Need advice - Unable to re-configure CloudCatalyst on Linux media server

Hi,

Need some advice here, thank you.

Any idea about this error when configuring CloudCatalyst on Linux media server? The error message is "Setting ESFS name and Local cache directory for xxxx -database system error(220)" which shown during configuring CloudCatalyst using Wizard as screenshot below.

I'm trying to re-configure CloudCatalyst to this Linux media server was CloudCatalyst component was removed due to the firewall issue which has been fixed now. However, i could not configure CloudCatalyst on the same server anymore with this error. Could someone face the same problem as well? Thank you.

Hello

Please do a cleanup for failed attempts and then retry the config.

Hope it helps.

@ltchoo

You say "CloudCatalyst component was removed ... "

Did you in the meantime use the media server as regular MSDP media server?

Already done the removal again with the help from Veritas Support but still doesn't help.

That's media server is not used for MSDP, just a basic media server and configured for CloudCatalyst.

Could you create these folders for vxesfsd logs:

/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/esfs_storage
/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/esfs_filesystem
/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/esfs_storagemanager

add VERBOSE = 5 into the bp.conf then repeat the procedure and share the log from this folder?
