NetBackup 7.0.1 EV agent will support EV 8.0 / 9.0 server in an EV cluster (MSCS)?

Please confirm whether the NetBackup 7.0.1 EV agent will support EV 8.0 / 9.0 server in an EV cluster (MSCS) and also confirm any Windows registry keys needs to be added.

Current Findings..

• The NetBackup 7.0.x and 7.1 Enterprise Vault agents supports Enterprise Vault installed in both MSCS and VCS clustered environments with the following exception: Enterprise Vault 7.5 is not supported in a VCS cluster environment. http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH77114
• The NetBackup 7.0 Enterprise Vault Agent supports Enterprise Vault clustered in these MSCS configurations: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH129697
• Enterprise Vault 7.5 on Windows 2003, 2008 (x86, AMD64)
• Enterprise Vault 8.0 SP2 or higher on Windows 2003, 2008 (x86, AMD64)

 But as per Page # 20 from Enterprise Vault Agent Administrator's Guide http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH127059 ; its mention that   NetBackup 7.0 does not support the Enterprise Vault agent on an Enterprise Vault 8.0 server in an Enterprise Vault cluster configuration.

The emphasized Note on p. 20 in the manual seems to contradict the TN's that you found...

TECH77114 was published after the 7.0 manual - I'd guess the TN contains the correct, updated info?

TECH129016 was updated as recently as 1 July 2011 and covers "How to configure the NetBackup 6.5.4/5/6 and 7.0/7.0.1.x/7.1 Enterprise Vault Agent to protect Clustered Enterprise Vault Databases."

TECH129697 says to create Registry key "if it doesn't exist"

I'd say the TN's (all published AFTER the manual (2010-01-26 ) contain the correct, updated info.

Hopefully one of our Symantec 'friends' can confirm for us??
