NetBackup and EV Agent backup of open partitions

Hi! Could some one explain me how could I perform backup of only opened partitions. Cause if I setup policy to backup only opened partitions, someday it became closed, so i probably lose some part of the data, because when policy start it will backup currently opened partitions, so data that was changed on previous partition will not be backed up. What should I do to guarantee that all data backed up?

I guess the answer is to use the EV Agent for your backups

That uses a directive for each partition type so just relies on it being Open or Closed (EV_OPEN_PARTITIONS and EV_CLOSED_PARTITIONS) so if a new one is added or one is closed and another is opened they always automatically get picked up
