I am trying to restore Folder Security Permissions on a Windows 2003 server.
Q> Do I have to go to First Full and apply the most recent Incremental?
when restoring I am using the JAVA client. The only options i have are
-restore everything to its original location
-restore everything to a different location
-restore individual directories and files to different locations
with option
-overwrite existing files
-restore directories without cross mount points
-restore without access-control attributes (windows clients)
Q>Is there any way to restore NTFS security without restoring directories and their content
I am thinking restoring the following would be the answer
-Restore System State > Registry (only)
